PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION FOR THE ADDITION OF TERRITORY TO THE BLUFFVIEW SANITARY DISTRICT
September 30, 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Sumpter will hold a public hearing on the 30th day of September 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sumpter Community Center E10496 County Road C, North Freedom, Wisconsin on a petition requesting the addition of a portion of lands to the Bluffiview Sanitary District pursuant to Wis. Stat. 60.785(1) that lie within the Town of Sumpter, Sauk County, Wisconsin. The boundaries of the proposed property to be added are as follows:
A parcel of land located in the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 14, T10N, R6E, Town of Sumpter, Sauk County, Wisconsin more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the southeast corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 3; thence S88°53’24”W along the south line of said southeast quarter, 2640.50 ft. to the south 1/4 corner of said Section 3; thence N46°29’41”E, 702.00 ft. to a 3/4″ solid round iron rod AT the point of beginning; thence N00°04’08”E, 208.02 ft. to a 3/4″ solid round iron rod; thence S89°55’52”E, 211.57 ft. to a 3/4″ solid round iron rod; thence S00°04’08”W, 208.02 ft. to a 3/4″ solid round iron rod; thence N89°55’52”W, 211.57 ft. to the point of beginning.
Following the Public Hearing and while in regular session, the Town Board will act on this Petition.
